EdgePLC Controllers

EdgePLC Controllers

The EdgePLC Controller aims to break down the barriers between IT and OT integration, creating a new generation of industrial edge controllers that combine "real-time control, edge computing, protocol integration, remote operation and maintenance, secondary development, and rapid deployment."

In terms of hardware, it offers a multi-level processor selection ranging from the high-end quad-core Cortex-A53 NXP i.MX8M Mini to the low-end dual-core Cortex-A7 T113-i. On the software side, it provides a CODESYS-based solution and supports the Ubuntu system, using OpenPLC to achieve microsecond-level real-time task scheduling, compliant with the IEC 61131-3 standard; it enables visual flow programming through Node-RED, easily connecting to industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, and MQTT; and utilizes Docker containerization technology for rapid application deployment and resource isolation. The solution also integrates remote operation and maintenance tools and a unified management platform, supporting secondary development and significantly reducing the difficulty of system integration and subsequent maintenance.
